Biography
Professor Apostolos Nikolaidis served as professor, President, and Dean of the Theological School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. His field: Sociology of Religion and Social Ethics, with specializations in Bioethics and Environmental Ethics. His research interests revolve around Political Theology, Christian Ethics, Bioethics, the Ethics of Religion, Social Anthropology, Meta-anthropology, the Sociology of Christianity, and the Sociology of Religion. At present he is a professor at the University of Nicosia and President of the Institute “Saint Maximos the Greek.” He has published 39 original monographs and about 170 scholarly articles.
